IT Support Specialist World Energy Solutions Inc. (TSX: XWE; NASDAQ: XWES) is seeking an IT Support Specialist to work within our IT department. The ideal candidate must have: - BS in MIS, Associate Degree or equivalent certification
- 1 years of Windows computer and network support experience
- Experience with the following technologies:
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and XP Operating Systems
- Microsoft Windows Domain and group policies
- Windows Update Services (WUS)
- Symantec Anti-virus or equivalent
- Microsoft Exchange/Outlook
- Cisco Networking Equipment (Switches, Firewalls, Router)
- Microsoft Office 2003 Suite of Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- A strong self starter’s work ethic and “can-do” attitude
- A willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort working in a high growth entrepreneurial environment
- The ability to learn quickly, comfort working with minimal direction, and a desire to grow professionally
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Dependable, reliable, and professional
You will be expected to: - Provide end-user desktop support in a multi-site environment
- Maintain and monitor servers, printers and network equipment
- Perform computer hardware & software upgrades
- Support company email system and mobile devices
- Perform IP phone & security system administration
- Maintain and monitor electronic backups
- Perform WUS anti-virus program administration
- Coordinate with 3rd party vendors to resolve issues as needed
- Develop end user and IT documentation as required
- Minimal travel
- Other IT related tasks as assigned
This postition is based in our Worcester, MA corporate headquarters office.
