Human Resources Representative
World Energy Solutions Inc. (TSX: XWE; NASDAQ: XWES) is seeking a Human Resources Representative.  World Energy operates online exchanges for energy and green commodities. For buyers and sellers of electricity, natural gas, capacity, and green-energy assets who are impacted by today's volatile markets, World Energy's proven approach has transformed the normally complex procurement process into a powerful, streamlined vehicle for cost savings. In addition to enabling customers to seek competitive pricing on traditional energy commodities, World Energy is taking a leadership position in the emerging environmental-commodities markets. Its award winning World Green Exchange®, supports the ground-breaking regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative's (RGGI) cap and trade program for CO2 emissions.

As the HR Representative you will be expected to:

  • Ensure accuracy of all employee data in ADP’s HRB HRIS
  • Process biweekly payroll using ADP PayExpert
  • Assist in preparing quarterly/annual bonus and commission payments
  • Track annual state reporting requirements
  • Assist in coordinating quarterly and annual review process
  • Prepare management reports
  • Coordinate college recruiting efforts; assist with other position postings/recruiting
  • Maintain HR files
  • Coordinate regulatory requirements
  • Conduct new hire benefit orientation; assist scheduling department orientation
  • Manage employee enrollments in benefit programs
  • Administer various office management functions
  • Manage company’s travel program
  • Participate in planning and execution of company events

A successful HR Representative will possess the following:

  • Utmost respect for confidentiality and ability to exercise good judgment when handling sensitive information
  • Basic understanding of Federal and State labor laws
  • Demonstrated ability to work, manage, and meet competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional, service-oriented demeanor with strong work ethic and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • A strong, self-starter’s work ethic with an innate comfort in an entrepreneurial environment
  • The ability to learn quickly, a comfort level working with minimal direction, and the desire to grow along with World Energy’s continued success
  • An interest in being an individual contributor and working in a team environment
  • A drive to succeed while maintaining integrity, accountability, and sound judgment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, ADP PayExpert, and ADP HRB HRIS (or equivalent tool)
  • An undergraduate degree
  • 2-4 years of related experience

This position is located at our headquarters in Worcester, Massachusetts.
