Account Managers – Utility, Channel Sales, Green
We are also seeking “A-level” professionals to join our successful, entrepreneurial team in our dedicated and accomplished Operations/Sales Department. Account Managers are strategists that help customers leverage the opportunities presented by deregulation. They are liaisons between customers/partners and World Energy’s operations team, facilitating the flow of information and insight required to maximize success and satisfaction. While Accounts Managers are essential to the consummation of each procurement, they are primarily responsible for the health of the relationship between World Energy and its customers.

You will be expected to:

  • Harvest relationships with Channel Sales/utilities/green customers and facilitate closing customer business.
  • Manage on-going internal marketing to Channel Sales/utilities /green customers.
  • Develop “on-boarding” of new utilities/green customers, including but not limited to:
  • Training on company platform
  • Support Sales and Operations with process compliance and development. Assist in monitoring and refining workflow.
  • Recommend new products and service offerings.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and develop lines of communication for efficient issue resolution.
  • Clearly communicate in both a written and oral manner.

Ideal candidates must have an interest in the energy industry and experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where self-initiative is the standard work ethic. Exposure to energy, telecommunications or high tech industries is a plus. The ideal candidate must have:

  • The ability to learn quickly, a comfort level working with minimal direction, and the desire to grow along with World Energy’s continued success
  • Solid analytical, verbal and written communication and collaboration skills
  • A competitive drive and confidence in your abilities
  • Strong follow-up skills
  • A strong work ethic and a self starter
  • Ability to multi-task and willingness to take risks in making business decisions
  • Interest in being an individual contributor and working in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access
  • An undergraduate degree (at a minimum)

World Energy Solutions, Inc. is seeking experience Account Managers who know they can deliver. The ideal candidate will be a reliable, focused individual who is sales savvy, consistently exudes a professional demeanor, and is confident when dealing with suppliers and customers. Finesse in handling the unexpected circumstances that occur when working with Channel Sales/utilities/green customers and maintaining impeccable customer focus is essential.
